| Old Car Lovers Tour |
| Pack up your old jalopy, trailer your restored treasure, or
go modern, but join the Paul Bunyan Vintage Auto Club for the
Spring Dust Off or Fall Foliage Cruise. Meet a lot of other car
lovers, check-out their rides, and cruise the beauty of the
Northwoods with us. Dinner at one of our favorite restaurants
along the route is always on the menu. Arrive on Saturday, enjoy
the trails, take a canoe ride, have a bon fire; just be ready to
roll for the Sunday afternoon event. This 2-night package
provides your accommodations, the cruise, and the fun dinner
afterwards. Radios will be provided so you can enjoy the banter

| Labor Day has come and gone; the kids are back in school.
It’s time to gather a few friends and get out of town. Our
leaves hit peak color near the end of September – a great time
to view the beauty of the season, take a hike, and get a little
exercise in. Enjoy the pontoon for the day on a trip to Star
Island or paddle down the river on a canoe. This 3-night getaway
includes accommodations, pontoon for a day, free use of canoes,
and gift certificate for a dinner out on the town ($20 value per
person). $139/person. |

| MEA Weekend Getaway* |
| Kids are back in school and ready for a break. Enjoy one of
the last fall weekends where you can get out and enjoy the
weather. It’s a great time to hike, take a canoe ride or a last
boat ride for the season, catch a movie in town or in the vcr,
play some board games, and have a big bonfire. The use of the
canoe or boat for a day, popcorn, and smores are included!
The 3-Night accommodation package is $150 per adult and $60 per
child 3-17. |

Come up and enjoy the beauty of the Northwoods and the Chippewa
National Forest. Depending on the time of year, there is
fishing, canoeing, boating, bonfires, hiking, exploring,

(they’ll even sing for you!) and full use of the facilities.

| Thanksgiving Weekend |
| All roads lead to Joe’s as you gather together Wednesday
evening to begin your Thanksgiving Holiday. Enjoy a
good hike after filling up on the turkey, stuffing, pie and more
or play a board game and watch a parade on tv. Then get ready to
hit the shops Friday for the kick-off to Christmas shopping.

20% off! Friday is a special night in Bemidji – It’s the “Night
We Light” Parade and festivities. The parade starts downtown at

entertainment. More shopping, hiking, and visiting on Saturday
with your friends and family. Pay for 3 days lodging
and the 4th is on us! |

| December Cookie Exchange |
| Do you like to have a variety of cookies around the house
during the holidays, but the thought of baking them all yourself
is too daunting? How about a weekend baking session with a bunch
of friends combined with a fun get-together away from it all?
Gather together a group of your friends and come on up to Joe’s
the first weekend in December. Check-in Friday night, chit-chat
around the fireplace catching up on what everyone’s doing, and
be ready to roll Saturday morning for a baking frenzy. The more
cabins we fill with bakers, the more variety of cookies you’ll
get! Send us your favorite recipe, and we’ll supply the
ingredients . . .flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder,
sprinkles, chips, cookie sheets, etc. After baking all day, be
our guest for dinner out on the town Saturday night. Everyone
will get a booklet of all the recipes at the end of the weekend,
and you’ll be ready for all those parties at home. Don’t forget
to bring containers to take home your goodies! This 2-night
package is $175 per person. |

| Ready to get out of Dodge and play in the snow? Snowmobile
trails are abundant; cross country ski through our trails at the
lodge; downhill at the top of the Continental Divide at Buena
Vista Ski Area, or hit the ice for catching those winter perch.
How about a craft or scrapbooking weekend with your friends,
while enjoying the expanse of the forest and the green of the
pines? Winter is beautiful in the Northwoods! This 3-Night

Between March 1-April 15th each year, we’d like to offer our
guests who have stayed with us in the last couple of years a
chance to get away at a great price. Read a book in front of the
fireplace, play some games, visit the casino, hike or bike,
enjoy the stars (maybe even the northern lights), and have a
bonfire. All merchandise in the Jack Frost Gift Shop will be
available at a 20% discount. Each person is $20/night
